IMAGINE - TO PICTURE, ENVISION, VISUALIZE

To imagine, to picture, envision, visualize. To dream, create, discover, invent. To imagine indicates a creative act, emphasizing the role of invention. Furthermore, to imagine suggests a deliberate entertaining of something totally contrary to what is already known.

Do you allow yourself time and place to imagine? Do you intentionally carve time into your schedule for creative thought, imagining how things might or should be; visualizing the very different outcome you seek? Tapping into your imagination can be incredibly freeing, invigorating, and stimulating. Imagining can also be practical in producing real possibilities and specific tasks that one must complete in order to achieve the perceived impossible.

What a powerful word. To inspire goes way beyond encouraging or even giving hope. To inspire literally means to breathe in, to infuse with confidence and an enthusiasm, propelling one to incredible heights. To inspire others is probably the single most important mission of a leader, and unfortunately, a responsibility too many ignore.
